Help Gsiff_daemon ?????

Hello.
Experiencing a major problem over the last few days.
Battery usage is extreme and my phone has rebooted itself a couple of times all on its own.
Just done a 'what's using my battery' check and it came up with
Gsiff_daemon as the top user.
What is this?
How can I kill it?
How can I stop it coming back?
I have done some reading on forums but they get a bit complicated talking about root this and root the other.
I am a basic phone user and don't understand rooting.
So if anyone can help I am after a simple fix for this problem.

Oh, uk customer on the 3 network with a 2 month old note 3 on kitkat.

You should be able to get more details from the below link. According to the thread, it appears that its a Gyroscope problem or related. There are several step that you can follow from the link to try and rectify the problem.

Thanks. Had a play with the CPU taster and turned wifi off in sleep mode and the battery seems much better today.

This worked for me.
In settings and the application manager, under the 'All' tab. I found a program called 'unified daemon(EUR)'
I tapped on it and disabled it.
The gsiff_daemon has since not appeared on battery usage.
I also set Power saving mode and changed Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep, to never, in the advanced wifi settings. Select wifi option in settings then press menu tab and select advanced to find the option. This turns off wifi when it's not in use and automatically turns on when you turn off lock screen.

my battery has more than doubled.
