I have ATT now with a 3g sim card. I was wondering how easy it is to unlock this phone, the phone i have now is a sony and i had to flash firmware a bunch of times to unlock the international version (i bought the phone from att, but the firmware from europe had a lot more features so i used that). Is it as hard as that on the Hero or is it as simple as popping in the sim card and changing the SMS settings.
I'm also wondering about data charges, I dont have a plan but does this use wi-fi for it's applications or the network. it would be great if there was an option to only access the internet when using free wifi. Thanks,
