Help (GSM) The right Baseband

The more I real, the less I know.... Ok so now I come across this baseband version thing. I have XXLA2, but reading in this forum, now I think I should have UGLC1.

Should I switch, and can I do it with wugfresh? I see a menu button for it on that toolkit.

Oh, I have AT&T if that means anything.

Theres no baseband you SHOULD have, I started with a XXKK6 or something like that, which is a European baseband and it gave me terrible 2G speeds so I tried flashing all of the UG (North American basebands) and I had similar speeds to my first baseband so then I tried the SCODOMLA1 (either Japanese or North Korean Im not sure) and now I have great 4G speeds! For clarification - I live in the United States so thats why I assumed I needed the UG basebands.

So honestly try any and all of the basebands your results may vary.

Also you can easily flash basebands through CWM

Thanks, I flashed it through wugfresh and it took all of 5 seconds. I now hat the north american ones. So far I see only one clear difference. And that's where my phone tells me which baseband I have.:itsme:

try a different baseband and run speed test each time you flash one so that way you can know which one is the best.

you can download speed test from the google play store its free
