I am just wondering if a GSM unlocked Motorola Atrix would be able to work on 3g. I looked at the bands on the phone, and I looked at the bands in use with T-Mobile, and it appears to my untrained eye that I would be able to get 3G data on an Atrix. Someone else told me that i would not; I am just trying to figure out the truth.

im sorry to say this but at&t and tmobile use different 3g freqs you will get data at edge speed if your phone is quad band you will get the 3g

Hiding behind a mystery
It is but it's not penta band, which will allow it to work on both AT&T & TMO. It's missing the 1700 frequency that TMo requires.
