As the name suggests, it's a core Android system process that handles SMS (text messages). A quick Google search also revealed that it may also be involved in processing voicemail alerts, according to reports of similar issues.

The bad news is that only a reset seemed to solve the problem.

What kind of Handling Exactly ? Beacuse i disabled This WakeLock Using Amplify But Still i Can Receive/Send Messages Normal (No Unusual Behavior) ...And Also i Don't Use Voice Mail.. So now What Exactly This WakeLock Do and why it Stuck , Last Night My Mobile is Fine and Today Don't Know How this WakeLock Appears and Starting To Suck My Battery.. :/ :(
i Also Searched regrading This WakeLock But unable to Find Enough Info , (Only 2000 REsults Found in Which Most of them are Un-Relevant) And Only MOTO-X users Having This WakeLock Problem i Think No Other Device Users Reported Such Issue (Except me)... :/ :(
And Also if i reset and again after Sometime it appears , Then What i have to Do that Reset Again...:eek:

What kind of Handling Exactly ?

I haven't the faintest idea... I just searched to find any info that might help. Perhaps if you said which device is involved somebody might be able to offer more specific advice. Have you contacted the manufacturer about the issue?
