gt540 multitouch?

ive read around and saw that some phones can use multi touch but only can wen there rooted, can you multi touch with the optimus gt540 wen its rooted

Our device has a Resistive Touch screen which isn't capable of detecting multiple touches.

Resistive has two layers & the touch is detected when the two layers contact each other when you press. Capacitive detects touch differently, when you make contact with finger, electrons pass through & the touch get detected.

That's why, Resistive touch screens can detect only one touch & Capacitive touch screen can detect multiple touches...

Multiple touch isn't possible for Resistive touch phone like ours, but Dual touch is possible (Already done for Resistive Windows Phones). It requires extreme programming & no one got successful from the Android community yet...

So if anyone gets successful doing that for Android, we'll be able to perform Dual touch, but multiple touch(3 or more) ain't coming for sure...
