Root GT540 wifi not working

Hi all, i have a GT540 runnin cm7, the mobile internet has never worked on it till i messed bout with the settings but now that works fine the wifi doesnt, it says obtainin ip address for ages then disconnects, any1 have a idea what settings i may have buggered up?

I would first check your security key, you may have entered it incorrectly which is easily done.

If that doesnt work, then Temporilly disable security on your Wifi network, if this works then there could be a slight corruption in the ROM.

Finally if none of the above work you may need to reflash, if this is the case then download the ROM again rather than use the one on your PC and install through fastboot so backup all data before hand, reflashing will eliminate any software problem and will solve most problems.

I'd recommend just rebooting the router and phone, then try again before reflashing. Routers are just like computers, they need to be rebooted every now and then too! If that still doesn't work, then try reflashing.

Ta peeps ill try all and any ideas, only thing is that i bought the phone already rooted so not sure how to do reflashing.
