Help gTablet and Adobe Air

Lurker
I'm developing an Android App and attempting to test on the Viewsonic gTablet. I'm developing the app in Flash and it needs Adobe Air to run...However, when I attempt to download Adobe Air on the Viewsonic gTablet from the Android Market...I get a 'incompatible with this device' comment and I am prevented from installing...

Can anyone shed some light on this for me...
,Thanks

The flash we are using is a beta version. So we can't even download the flash app in the Market because it won't work. I'm assuming it would be the same for Adobe Air.

Thanks that it very helpful...
However, my brain cannot accept this as true...

i.e. that Adobe Air cannot be installed on the gTablet...

If I were to accept this as true, then any app I made for
Android in Flash would be completely unusable...

And all of the 'hooplah' of Air running on Android would
be just plain untrue...

So, is it that Flash/Air can not run on the gTablet...or
on any Android device...?

,Thanks so much

There probably is a way to make adobe air work but I'm guessing that someone needs to tweak it in order for it work on the gtablet. You might want to check XDA.

I have air on My Tab You have to use the release of Flash (2.0.?) which can be found and loaded via USB from a computers Then download air the same way. The beta on view website is trash and caused my unit to jump out of flash web pages the relese sofar is working fine

Which ROM are you running? I heard that the gingerbread ROMs are able to download flash 10.2 directly from the market so I'm assuming gingerbread ROMS can also download the AIR app too.
