Could someone give me some clear guidelines about unlocking, rooting ,flashing etc. as I have tried all sorts and my phone appears as it always has...
To start, I have no idea if it is even unlocked!
I input the code given to me by my original contract provider but all attempts at confirming the unlock have failed.
I have tried dialling codes but receive error messages, input my IMEI which tells me my phone is UNBLOCKED not unlocked, when I put in a SIM from another provider it just told me I had mistakenly inserted a Vodaphone SIM and 'would I perhaps like to purchase some credit' anyway?
There must be a simple way of checking in the 'about device' menu surely?
