Long story short, phone got stolen and now selling the insured one coming this Monday. Due an upgrade in a couple days most likely changing to an iphone so guess i won't be on this forum again, bye guys/girls good luck in life.
 
Sorry to hear you are changing to one of those pieces of junk. I hope everything works on it. We know you won't ever have service.
 
uhg, well good luck, being that my wife has an iphone, I think you're making a worse mistake,my X10 is way better, but have fun!
 
What's wrong with the iphone? jailbreaking it means everything's free right and more customizable?
 
Couldn't agree with these posts more, sorry about your phone being stolen etc.. but an iphone... ouch. Jailbreaking won't change the fact that you need itunes to do just the simplest of things like set a ringtone. I no the X10 isn't perfect but the iphone makes it seem like it is.

take it easy over on the dirty side mate, lol, i too am off, my x10 is being donated tomy daughter as im awaiting delivery of htc dhd, the x10 was my introduction to android and made me see the light, but the needs for improvment are too much,,,
 
I was hoping more people would install "Lookout Mobile Security" cause I want to see cases of people finding their stolen phone.
 
Kingdong, sad to see you go. I can understand you not wanting to replace your SE with another and hope whichever device you settle on you have a long and happy relationship with (or at least until some light fingered little bugger walks off with it!). All the best xx
 
Jailbreaking is a pain in the ass now. I did my buddy's 3GS. If you get a new phone you have to change the baseband to an iPad baseband (irreversible, voids warranty), the phone is likely going to be tethered and any time you reboot your phone, you'll have to hook it up to redsn0w just to start it. Good times.
 
Staying with droid htc desire is nice heard very good things of htc top ends.
You could always give windows mobile 7 a try, looks nice but don't know how restricted it is, again htc seem to be the best, mozart being one I've heard good reviews on.
 
Okay after the amount of people saying that the iphone is a bad phone and playing around with an iphone around i decided i want to stay with android. which ones would you recommend, on my shortlist i currently have HTC Desire HD, HTC Desire Z, Samsung Galaxy S or the Nexus one.
 
iv bin doing the same for few weeks now and hav gone for the htc desire hd even tho the batt is jus like the x10 was to start off with,

think its a case of going into a shop and playing a seeing wot u feel thats rite
