Guess this is bye

in all seriousness, no matter what phone you pick you are going to find a fault with it.
no phone is perfect, none whatsoever so dont ever think the grass is greener on the other side because its not, its covered in shit just like this side.

if you want to stay android just get one with good hardware, like the X10 or one of the equivelents that can be rooted and custom roms installed, thats where android shines.

if iphone, you will most likely have to jailbreak it or again it will have things you wont like.

if you want a business phone then you cant really go wrong with blackberry.

palm OS is very good, apps are lacking (or at least were when i had one) and the phone is poorly built.

windows mobile... i had 6.5 and it put me off so cant comment on current versions.

Ignore the fanatical responses and enjoy your iphone :)

or join the dark dark side and come over to the WP7(Samsung focus, htc surround, or lg quantum)....

Once you go Windows, Android will bore you(still love android though haha)
but enjoy your iphone....

KingDong, if you PM me your address I'll make you a phone and post it to you.

I'll need to wait until I eat 2 yoghurts and I'll need to buy some string, but it'll be better than an iTelephone lol!

No, seriously, make sure you get a grace period enabling you to give the phone back - I guarantee you'll need it.

My recommendation anything but an X10! I would go somewhere less partisan for phone opinions but I'd say stick with android just make sure it doesn't have the makers crappy resource hogging software on it like SE have done.

Okay after the amount of people saying that the iphone is a bad phone and playing around with an iphone around i decided i want to stay with android. which ones would you recommend, on my shortlist i currently have HTC Desire HD, HTC Desire Z, Samsung Galaxy S or the Nexus one.

What about the Nexus S? If you really want the best Android experience, that would be the one. It has the latest OS, Android 2.3 and will be the first getting all of the updates directly from Google :) Carpoolwarehouse sells them.

The Nexus One is good too...one of the biggest issue it has is the clearpad2000 screen sensor which can not do real 'multitouch'. If you're a big gamer this might be a deal breaker for you. Other than that, it's a great great phone and has a great built.

Another suggestion is the HD2, it's a window phone (W6 or W7) but it can now fully boot android :) So you can switch between two OS.

Best advice is to go into the store and spend some time with each device.

dood... You need this phone! Forget android lol

hahahahahaha!!!!

hahahahahaha!!!!

Found mine in the garage the other day; sadly, no battery or charger. I know it doesn't use a SIM, but how cool would it be to get that bad boy "Classic flip"running again?

Back on topic, my bro-in-law got a Desire HD at Christmas. Nice screen brightness, but viewed close up, not as sharp as my X10. Ran much faster than my phone, but maybe because he hadn't yet installed as much junk as I have! lol
