How To Install:

  3. Open “Odin3_v3.04.exe”
  4. Power off the Epic 4G Touch

  6. Connect the Epic 4G to your computer. Ensure Odin recognizes it. You should see “0:[COM#]” fill in the first box.

*This is not my work, Just a copy and paste from http://sxtp-forum.com. Which seems to be down/gone/wiped now. I managed to get a copy of it so i posted it here for reference. I know i could have reworded it and called it my own. But thats for noobs. Credit for it should go to the proper people.



I can confirm that this works. I personally tested it. My phone went back to Unrooted, stock kernel and factory fi22 rom.

well i managed to get it back to stock fl22 and it works great. thx for all the help. i guess custom roms are not for me....... they seem too unstable to me unless theres something im missing?
 
i found this to work...im not the smartest person when it comes to this yet. but i changed the name of the file from

D710BST_CODE_SPH-D710BST.FI22_CL981989_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5 (1).7z

to

D710BST_CODE_SPH-D710BST.FI22_CL981989_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5

then odin recognized it and it worked perfect. try it.

you can't just change the name of a .7z file to .md5 and expect it to work. a .7z file is a compressed archive that has to be uncompressed first. Odin will recognize the md5 extension but will not work right.
 
Odin is not something to play in. It can be your life line. But trying to trick Odin to flash something is not smart. Just follow the instructions in the op if you like your phone
 
Question, does D710BST_CODE_SPH-D710BST.FI22_CL981989_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5 perform a no data restore or will it restore with data intact?
