Root Gummy Jar keyboard problems

Before installing Gummy Jar, I was able to tap on words I had spelled incorrectly to be able to change them. It was nice that when you tapped on the word it would come up with all the suggestions as if you were typing the word again. When I installed Gummy Jar, I installed the original keyboard only to find that this feature isn't there anymore. Is it gone on the gingerbread keyboard also? This feature really saved me time. You don't have to retype words, just select the correct ones. How can I get this feature back?

Got it to work. I flashed Gummy Jar without clearing data or cache. This keyboard does exactly what I was talking about.

Only thing i dont like bout Gummyjar is the lack of the swype keyboard...Apex ftw until i figure it out hehe
