Root GV 1.6 leaking memory

I have ginger villain but even with the full version of quick app cache clean my memory keeps falling.

Any ideas as I love gv

First, you many want to get the latest version v1.8.
Second, have you got an ext partition?
Finally, did you move the Dalvik cache to ext?

To a c++ programmer "memory leak" has a different meaning to this

Need more info to be honest. Do you have an ext partition? If so, did you move dalvik cache to it (first post of GV thread at XDA)? And how much internal do you have, how many apps, how fast does it drop (so we can say whether there is anything unusual)?

To me, memory leak is an app that takes up ram and does not release it properly. The more you use it, the more ram is used

That's the one - allocates memory, doesn't release it after use. Can be a real PITA...
