Root H34510e/MS34510e 5.1.1 Update

Has anyone on the MetroPCS Leon received the MS34510e update to 5.1.1 yet? On wifi with 100% battery, checking for an update doesn't show the new version available (on MS34510b currently).

I found a link explaining how to use the LG tool to upgrade. UPGRADING TO 5.1 WILL LOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER! I don't understand why a locked loader is a problem if you plan on remaining stock BUT want root access to utilize link2sd and be fully in control of your device. I don't really dabble in ROMS or custom kernels and, that's just my preference. IF YOU UPGRADE AND YOUR BOOTLOADER IS LOCKED YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO FLASH ROMS OR CUSTOM KERNELS! THERE IS NO METHOD FOR DOWNGRADING OR UNLOCKING AT THIS TIME. NOT EVEN VIA BACKUP! However, the one perk to Android 5.1 is the memory leak based on the screen off animation has been fixed. I'm going to attempt using this tool to upgrade after I research a bit and see if upgrading disables my ability to root.

Curious to see what you turn up in your research. I'm rooted right now (via this method) and don't really care about loading non-stock roms, but I really like having root to keep the stock bloat under control and don't want to lose root if I update...
 
For everyone saying you cannot downgrade thats false.i updated to 10E on my tmobile leon & was able to downgrade to 10D which is still rootable via kingroot.the bootloader must be unlocked on Version 10D as well,because i flashed TWRP & CM12.1 no problem.ive since gone back to stock.however,you CAN downgrade if you have flashed the 10e and have the 10d KDZ.
Its not possible however to go back to 10B.once you take that update to 5.1 you are stuck to either 10D or 10E

Man, how do i do this? Ive been looking for a specific thread because this is my exact predicament. Im on stock 5.1.1 10e after doing a system update. I want to downgrade to 10d so i can install root, custom recovery, and cm12. I have this nice sd card i cant do anything with. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wrote a guide for downgrading because i saw all the trouble folks were having with 10E.ive actually went to 10E then back down to 10D myself so i know it works.@rev_pizzaguy has that exact thread here above me.:)
 
Everything worked! I downgraded, and now have root and twrp. Next step is to replace kingroot with supersu and get my Cyanogenmod on!!! Thank you soo much guys. ! Yall rock!
 
Here's the update.zip for metropcs ota update that my phone was sent this week, if it will help rom developers. It's 5.1.1, build LMY47V but I can't tell if it's .d or .e.

Has anyone found a way to permanently disable updates or update notifications without freezing the update center?
