Help had to do Factory (Master?) reset

It's a long story, and I'm getting a new phone in 2 days anyway, so I was just curious: after a factory reset (I know I lose all my personnal data), is my Optimus T not supposed to work at all anymore? After a battery pull, when I try to power it on, it gets to the "ANDROID" banner and stays there indefinitely. Is this normal? Thank-you very much. I'm a noobie just trying to learn a little more.

No, that is not what a factory reset is supposed to do. Maybe it just takes a long time on the first boot after the factory reset? How long did you wait for the android screen to go away? And, have you tried multiple times?
