LOL.. just wanted to post that.. lol.. flashed the GNM recovery over again.. and something went wrong.. lol
 
yeah you might want to chill on the recovery flashing. everything else is pretty harmless but the recovery flashing can mess up partitions. have fun reprogramming...
 
Just wondering if I used lgnpst over again flashed 2.2.1 with it and set the meid/esn back and programmed my phone with my number will i have the service again? Cause I want to start all over again with everything fresh. Or is there a way to do a complete stock rom with my phone from flash recovery to have everything back to normal like I bought it out of the box?

if you made a backup of your stock rom b4 you flashed a custom one you can restore it back to the way you bought it, while retaining root
 
aye aye aye.. this sooo sux.. you know ive flashed recovery a dozen times.. no prblems.. and this one time.. man wtf... trying to find my MSLand SID.. i wrote down all my other stuff a while ago in case this ever happened.. but there are a few things i wish i knewk lol..
 
back up and running.. woot.. only took an hour.. lol.. had to go pick up my girl int he middle of it.. now i just need to test the data and see if it works..

EDIT: Data working.. only 1x.. dunno if thats just what im recieving at the moment.. but hopefull 3g will kick back in

Many thanx to the great people who put up the tutorials for all of this lol, just glad i had read and downloaded pretty much everything at some point, now to make a backup through QPST so the next time i can just restore it lol. while im here.. stuck on stock atm.. and b4 i flash a custom recovery.. im going to take advantage of this moment to pull the stock recovery image from the phone..

EDIT: so in case anyone is watching this.. thread.. i have a stock recovery img pulled from the phone.. i used the cat command in terminal to get his img.. i do not know if this is flashable.. but im gonna do some research and find out.. this may come in handy for epope who are having phone issues and are still under warranty.. to put their phone back to 100% stock without having to use LGNPST

Cool and so right about all the great minds and support - getting ready myself now to run a2sd dtappsbeta04 now - doing my Tibu backup - Thanks to Lukaslukasm for suggesting that --(thanks also for your help) ~:)~

Does using "FlashImage Gui" help and lessen chances of messing up partitions or same effect? (Actually at first read, thought you meant also flashing roms too many times and was like:eek: cus I've flashed roms alot these past weeks) TIA for any input - good to know on this. :)

FlashimageGUI has been flawless for me.
 
Well, I just did the fast boot thing to my phone. I'm going to have to figure it out later tonight though. No time now.

If you still have the stock.img file i would love to have a copy of it if you don't mind. I would like to have one just for a just incase situation. If you don't mind me asking. How were you able to pull the stock.img? I'm assuming thought adb? Thanks.

yeah i still have it.. dont have the link handy atm.. but its posted on reppards thread.. prob about 2-3 pages from the last..
