Handcent and Failed SMS

I've noticed that if I try to send a text at the same time as receiving one in handcent, I always get a "message failed to send" error. As to whether the message is actually sent later, I have no clue.

Is this a Sprint issue, or a handcent one? I'd like to fix it, but I really don't want to go back to the stock Android Messaging app...

ASAIK, its not a handcent problem, actually its not a problem at all. My phone wont send/recieve at the same time, my old Treo 800 wouldnt either, my old old Sanyo wouldnt either. and my moms Touch Pro 2 wont either.

Ive had this "problem" with the stock app as well.

I had a Blackberry Tour on sprint for a while, same issue. And happened once or twice on my Evo.
I think it has something to do with sprint, only thing I think you can do is press 'resend'
