Handcent as default SMS app

I was using Handcent until the ads showed up. I switched over to Chomp, payed the 3 dollars to get rid of ads and have enjoyed it. It's not as polished as Handcent but I was sick of the glitches. Before I download again I have some questions for some helpful members;

Are the adds still there?
Are there still problems with MMS not being delivered?
Does it still have the problem of saying...Message could not be sent and resending?

ads are still there.

have downloaded the app two separate times. each time i would get MMS errors - unable to send and/or unable to download. anyone else getting those errors? native app seems to work just fine, but i miss handcent (which worked perfectly on moto droid).

...What are these ads you guys are referring to? Inside the handcent app? Not that I'm complaining, but I don't have any ads.

Just downloaded chomps, and paid the 3 dollars. So far I like it much better than standard sms that came with Incred.

Thanks for the heads up about chomps.
