Help Handcent/Group Issue

I searched for this issue, I swear, but can't find a solution.

I apparently created a group a while back called "Band". Our singer is no longer with us, so I'd like to remove him from the group. I don't remember how I created the group originally (it was created with my old Incredible, now I have the Bionic), but I do remember it was a bit of a pain.

So when I create a message with Handcent, I can hit the Group icon and see my groups to add it as a recipient. However I can't permanatly edit the group from there. Also, I can't find it listed anywhere else to edit it.

If I go to my "Contacts" icon, none of my groupe are listed there. But I can create a group there and it will show up in the Handcent group menu.

Basically, the only place this group exists is when I add it in a new message as a recipient.

Does anyone have any idea WTF is going on? I can't edit/delete the group.

If it is under the "Phone" listing it is a GOOGLE contact group.

Go to your google account -> contacts -> and then remove or add people to your groups.

Unfortunately, it's not listed in my phone groups. It only seems to exist when I create a Handcent message. Oddly, there is no way I can see to create a Handcent-only group. So strange!

Hmm, maybe there is a Handcent group setting on their online account?

I don't know I have only ever used groups with my Google account.

Vehtamas, You were right. I couldn't see it on the website when I logged into Google/Gmail from my phone. But when I logged into Gmail on my PC, I could see the group and edit it.

Interestingly enough, I re-synced my contacts but if I go to: Phone>contacts>groups, none of the groups on the gmail site show up there.

Screw it, I'll take what I can get. Thanks for making me second-guess myself and learn something!

For some reason the Google Groups don't show up in the default contacts. If you download ContApps it does indeed show up however, I use that for sorting through my contacts.
