Help Handcent hates sending pictures

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem on the Dinc but some days I simply cannot send pictures through Handcent. When it acts up I will create a text and insert a photo. At that time it will usually close the text and bring me back to the list of texts I have or force close Handcent. It will usually say compressing picture/picture too large or whatever right before it freaks out.

Remedy?

I had to switch my picture size to 5MP from 8MP and it seems to work great now.

I had all sorts of issues with Fc's when I used handcent, I ditched it and switched to gosms and haven't had a single problem at all. Just throwin that out there, gosms seems to run much smoother and faster than handcent.
