Help Handcent MMS question

Since upgrading to 596 and a new update to Handcent, when i receive any sort of picture message, the picture isn't automatically downloaded. After I get a notification and open Handcent, just under the new message, it will say "downloading" and I have to wait for whatever it is to download before I can see it. It did not act like this before I updated to 596. Any suggestions as to what setting i may have wrong? Or is this a new thing after Handcent updated?

Mine's always done that... but I could recommend setting "auto retrieve" to on inside the stock messaging app (eventhough you don't use it, it will auto retrieve the file for you).

Making that change fixed it. I now don't have to wait for a message to download after I get the notification. Thanks!
