I have been using Handcent for 2 days and didn't have any problems until last night. Its now showing only the phone number instead of the contact name. Has anyone had this problem? Any way to fix it?
Go to Handcent Settings > Show Mobile Number Only (down towards bottom of settings screen, under Send SMS Settings heading), uncheck if checked and see if that works.
Actually... my phone erased my entire contact list. Thas why its not showing any names!! Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I'm pretty sure its not even related to Handcent program
Well if you saved them originally as Google contacts, not Phone contacts, all you would have to do is sync your Google Contacts. Menu> Settings> Google> Sync Contacts.
If they were saved as Phone Contacts you will have to manually put them back in.
