Handcent ~or~ SMSPro

I've been trying to create neat skins/themes/whatever they call em for my Handcent BUT the pictures don't end up being as vivid & clear as I would like. I am thinking about going to SMS pro but I have had that before & don't really recall much about it.

What do you prefer for your SMS?:smokingsomb:

I figured it out - The background HAS to be the EXACT same size as your screens dimensions. If not it will look stretched. I had to Google the specs of this phone & found the exact screen size. Now all my backgrounds that I create look fantastic.

I'm going to stick with Handcent for now (till it starts acting up on me)
 
I really like ChompSMS, really simple and can do the things i need.

If i trusted gosms i think i would use them but they send add and more.
 
I've never had problems with go SMS until they integrated go chat into it. But that's when changing go SMS mode comes in handy. Been my SMS app for 2 years :p

Same here..GoSmSPro....dont use the chat, but I've been using it for about a year now:) I've tried Handcent, Chomp, but for me, it's Gosms.
 
Go to settings in Go SMS, basic tab, and turn off the noise by setting the Running Mode. Makes it behave. :)

For whatever reason, I found after one update that Handcent started eating my battery. I couldn't figure out why, but don't have the problem with Go.
 
Yup. GO SMS Pro here. Just switched it to "Normal Mode" to turn off the unnecessary stuff like Chat. Still my go to app. Would have switched to Pansi if not for a couple of features I really wanted that Go has and the Pansi did not.
