Help Handcent popups blocking google navigation

I love the popup from handcent while I am not using navigation. However, when I was using google navigation, people send me a text then the popup would literally take over the screen. I couldn't see the map until I close the popup which is dangerous while on the road. I was wondering if there's any way to solve this issue without disabling handcent popups? Thanks

I would suggest to check in the settings, to see if there is anything to prevent that, if not then I would simply turn the pop up off during navigation

I don't think there is an option for that in handcent, so the OP has some choices to make. I had a similar issue with another app and I ended up just disabling pop ups all together.

I would just disable the pop ups entirely. They are very intrusive and really just remind me of pre-iOS 5 notification dialog boxes.

A friend of mine uses those and he loves them though. It all comes down to personal preference.
