Help handcent problems

Ok so I installed handcent a few days ago. Set it up like every other time, turned off stock messaging notification. Every once in a while the led would continue to blink after opening the app. It wouldnt clear until a new text came through. I'm using launcher pro plus, with adw installed but launcher pro is set to default. Any ideas on why the led is still blinking after I have opened the app and replied. And yes I have went in and looked at the stock message app and it shows no new message when this happens.
 
Sometimes I have this problem. Try pulling down your notification drawer at the top of the screen even if for an instant. Even though you don't actually have to clear the message there it always stopped the led notification for me.
 
hmmm. I never pulled it all the way down just halfway maybe that was my issue. IDK. I uninstalled for now and might try chomp Sms just to see if it does the same thing.

This is an issue with handcent. I have notified the developer and they say they are working on it, but I had to switch to gosms in the meantime...
 
i switched to chompSMS for the time being. ^ please keep us up to date if you hear from the developer on handcent

Mine does this once in a while as well... doesn't really bug me too much(it is just a flashing light) but if I want to clear it I just open up ATK and kill all apps. Kinda sux but it really isn't that big of deal for me. :D
 
FWIW; The only thing i use stock is SMS. I don't need different colors and backgrounds. I just need texts to work. I've tried a couple and with the issues of a few, i came to the conclusion that its just not worth it for me.

Is their anything else that would make it worth it? I do use Google talk for video chat and people that dont have unlimited.
 
well im using ChompSMS right now and it doesnt have the blinking issue. It did it once to me but I a previous poster posted just pull the notification bar down and it goes away. I like the stock one but it gets to plain after a while
 
yeah guys this is a rezound issue. It happened on my incredible too so it's htcs fault. it does it for Google Talk all the damn time, its so annoying. i turned led off for texts but you can't for Google Talk, and no the ota doesn't fix it.
