Help Handcent requesting superuser permission

I flashed Android Revolution today and after I installed Handcent, I noticed something odd. When I try to attach a photo that is too large, it normally would automatically resize it. However, now Handcent is asking for superuser permissions! It's never asked for that before and I don't see why it would need it. When I deny permissions, it just closes the conversation. Has anyone ever seen this before? Any ideas as to why it's happening now?

I restored my backup of Absolution and tried it and Handcent does not ask for SU permissions. Both ROMs are using the same version of Handcent.

It is probably trying to keep the image a larger size. Ive read you can override AT&Ts compression of pictures by a few hundred mb if youre rooted.
