Handcent SMS and 2x notifications

I get 2x notifications when I receive messages with Handcent. I assumed the stock sms app was also notifying, but I think I turned that one off. Still getting the 2x notification

Be sure you turned off the stock one, don't think you did. I had the same issue.

Had the same problem, just go into the default messaging app, hit menu button and then settings. Uncheck auto retrieve messages and notifications

I love handcent! I was just trying to figure out this double notification thing too hope it works


Edit: it does work!! One more reason for me to love this phone.
