Handcent SMS question

[Abby6497]

Is there any way to customize the pop up? I know you can turn it off but i'm wondering about different colors and such.

i never found a way, its one reason i started using Go SMS instead, it has themes and things, much better looking

I second the Go SMS recommendation.

Yes and a few of my friends have complained about the same test from me multiple times.

That usually happens when the phone is using the stock sms as well as handcent sms or that's when it would do it to me. I rename the stock sms app, messaging.apk to messaging.bak (/system/app/ ) then reboot and that problem is gone. That is the only time I've had that issue, right after flashing a new rom.

You can change quite a few things about the popup including whether it uses the notification drawer or a screen popup, what it shows, font, etc. and different themes will have it edited to their colors and fonts. Handcent is actually very customizable.

So you are saying that you can customize the pop up window with Handcent? How??
