Help handcent?

pops ups used to appear so i didnt have to go into my phone to reply to a text. now I have to do a pattern unlock then see the message. just started doing this yesterday.. How can i get it back to being a pop up without going into the phone.. no settings have changed either. re install??

im new to this, so forgive me if i'm wrong:

sounds like a setting did change. It sounds like you added the pattern unlock, which isn't a handcent setting, but whatever.
My guess is that if you remove the pattern lock then you'll get your old pop-ups back.
