Help Hands free ear phones?

Hi everyone

I'm new to the forum and the Android world. (previous apple iphone user)

Just purchased an HTC Sensation XE over the weekend.

Quick question, can I use the beats audio earphones as hands free when making voice calls? If so, where is the actual microphone?

like with the iphone, the mic is in the control for the music playback.

That's awesome! I haven't got mine yet but I assume the controls are at the appropriate height that when you have the headphones in your ear, the mic is at voice range? Seems obvious but you never know.

Honestly I doubt myself. When I'm using the headphones the playback buttons are usually under a shirt, if not jumper and jacket as well, but I can still talk handsfree with no trouble, so I dont know if the mic is located elsewhere?
