Handset getting warm/hot?

has anyone else found their handset getting warm/hot, on the bottom half of the handset?

this has only happened a couple of times and i've not worked out any pattern yet... the latest time was when it was plugged in to the mains on a charge

Mine does too.but then again, so did my hero, desire, desire HD, HD 2, HD mini,g1, etc......all phones will to some degree.

it's only happened twice, so i just turn it off for 5 minutes and it's fine

mine does also, but it seems to be normal. With my phone it happens when i start to use the internet quite heavily or want to do multiple things at once.

Mine too, when I use the phone intensely. If I leave it alone for 5 minutes it is back to normal.

Mine gets warm around the lower half when plugged in during heavy usage (browsing at work =D). I don't know what it's like when plugged in not being used cause I'm usually asleep!; it did get hot when I had it plugged in under my pillow and my iPhone has never done that, but I don't think it gets warm on the bedside table. Not noticed it getting hot during normal usage, only really during heavy usage and data streaming.
