Help Handset shuts off randomly

Hi I'm new my EVO turns off randomly and freezes after I updated it to 2.3.4

Are you rooted?

Have you tried a factory reset? (Factory reset will clear off everything on your phone, make sure to back up data you wish to keep)

I had the same issue with the very first 3D I got on release day. It wasnt freezing, but every time I looked down it was off. I switched it and havent had the issue since.

Have you done a battery pull and/or a Factory reset?
