Root Hangs/Freezes when trying to open CW Recovery

Really odd ... running Skyraider Sense 3.2 RC3 ... wanted to go back to my stock nandroid backup so I went to boot into Clockwork Recovery via ROM Manager ... it restarted, went to the splash screen ... then just hung up there for a while. Battery pulled, then booted into HBOOT and tried opening recovery from there. Still hangs at the splash screen.

Ended up flashing an older version of CW Recovery and that seems to be working fine.

Just thought this was odd and was wondering if anyone else had this problem?

Just sounds like your recovery got corrupt somehow. Reinstalling CW almost always does the trick as you found out.

It was odd... I even tried reflashing the new/current version but no dice. Had to go back a version, then back to the current.
