Help Hangs up on removal from pocket ??

Issue:
I receive a call, my phone is in my pocket.
I remove phone to answer, it always hangs right up...?

any ideas?

Used to happen to me a lot...either I'd accidentally swipe the screen to ignore the call, or accidentally answer it (before I had a chance to see if it was anyone I wanted to talk to ".
This was my first smart phone coming from a flip phone that didn't matter how I grabbed it.
I finally trained myself to always put it in and take it out of my pocket the same way; facing my leg with the top pointed down... I grab it from the back and it's oriented the right way when I pull it out.
I never thought to look if there's a way to disable the swipe-to-answer/ignore feature.

There are apps that add an extra step to answer/hang up, to avoid pocket hangups.

That's good to know.
Sounds much better than disabling the feature entirely and having to fully unlock the phone to answer it.

The hang up issue was one of the most annoying things about the stock HTC. I used an app called Easy Answer Button that was recommended to me in another thread on this forum.
