Root Haptic Feedback Duration Control?

Is there a way to change the duration of the haptic feedback?

I found a way on Android Cookbook, but it's over my head. Loved the way the shorter feedback felt when I was running Perfect Storm, I could type noticeably faster, and was wondering if anyone knows of a way to adjust the feedback.

have you ever tried swiftkey? its a good keyboard,and worth using. and its got a setting for duration of hepatic feedback

i know thats not really what you asked,but you might check it out. theres a trial version.
