Haptic feedback settings

So... when I was checking out the DInc2 in my local VZW store (before purchasing it) there was an option in the language & keyboard menu to change the haptic feedback level between: default, X (don't remember the value) and Y (don't remember the value)

I do not see this option on my DInc2. Am I missing something, or was I taken by some random A'hole who installed some type of app on the demo phone that now has me confused?

Try this

  1. settings
  2. language & keyboard
  3. touch input
  4. text input
  5. vibrating when typing (uncheck it)
that should do it.

Thanks, but I already knew how to toggle it on/off.

What I am talking about was an option that opened a window with a few different options for the intensity level of the feedback.

I'm guessing someone had installed something on the floor model phone that provided these options, because I can't find anything beyond the on/off toggle on my phone.

It would be nice to be able to adjust. We have 2 DINC 2's in our family and they really vary quite a bit how much they vibrate. My son's really vibrates quite a bit more than mine does.

+1 on that. I got a replacement when I dropped my release day DINC 2, and this new one vibrates substantially less. I liked feeling a good buzz when hitting the four soft touch buttons. :/
