Root Hard bricked?

Tried returning my Fascinate to stock and now can't get farther than "SAMSUNG" logo when powered on.

When attempting to Odin back to stock GB it'll get as far as "factoryfs" then stalls out. Phone's screen goes all blue or all orange... Will not complete Odin.

Soft bricked. A hard bricked phone and a phone without a battery act the same - dead.

Can you get it into download mode? (If not, you can use a Samsung Jig - that'll put even a hard-bricked phone into download mode.) Go to SamMobile Firmwares put in the model number (1500 for the Fascinate?) and download the correct ROM. (Careful - flashing the wrong ROM will leave you where you are now.) That should bring you back to stock. (Some of them are flashable with Kies - orange icon on the right.)
