Hard decision

I need help deciding whether I should get the Galaxy Note 2 (I've played with it and freaking love it)
Or
Wait for the Samsung Galaxy s4. I'm having.
Im think about it constantly and can't reach a conclusion, I'm thinking that I should just wait for the GS4 this far off. Idk!!!
 
Lol - I'm in the same boat. I just upgraded to the RAZR HD MAXX back in October and I really like that phone but I was playing with a Note 2 a couple days back and I'm loving the size of the screen and many of the features. My problem is I would have to buy the phone at full price so I don't lose my unlimited data plan. I can buy one and return it up to 14 days later with a $30 restocking fee so I might do that just to play with it for two weeks straight and then if I like it enough to keep it I could still sell the RHDM for a good chunk of change. That's why I've been surfing the Note 2 forum to try to get as much info as I can to help decide!
 
Don't wait for the s4 because at that time u will wana wait for the note 3 trust me it never ends..cheers
 
You really have to think what is a main deciding factor you. For a lot of the people on this forum its 5.5" screen with an excellent battery life and a bonus of s-pen and peripheral connectivity (mouse/keyboard/usb storage/etc - through OTG w/o need for root). And don't forget, hardware wise its a quad 1.6GHz processor, so you are not buying something that will be outdated within months. With S4, you will be in <=5" screen territory, quad core, 1080 res (bump up), and rumors of Key Lime Pie (or whatever next Android 5.0 going to be). Bottom line - screen/form factor is the major decision point. If you love it - get it! Because once you'll wait to get S4, then you will drive yourself crazy thinking about N3 :)
 
Trust me, get the Note II. By the time the S4 comes out you won't even care because you already have the best phone on the planet! :D
 
Note 2.

My logic?

I'd take a Note 1 over an S3 any day (I actually did). So even though nobody has truly seen it yet, I can say with almost certainty that I'd take the Note 2 over the S4. Besides, as others have stated, if you wait for the S4, the Note 3 will then be just around the corner. Then, if you wait for that, the S5 etc. Better to just pick what you want NOW and get it, else you'll always just be waiting for the 'next big thing'.

I've been a major tech/gadget freak all my life. The Note 2 is the best mobile device I have ever owned, it is flat out amazing.
 
Thanks so much!!! I have one more concern. The display.
I have seen both the note 2 and gs3 displays side to side and although the note 2 has a lower pixel density it looks just like the one in the gs3. Am I the only one that notices this?
 
OMG are you for real Carlos?? I have the GS3 and the GN2 and they both look great....

trust me the naked eye cannot tell the difference!!! Oh lord

^^ I totally agree. For me the GN2 has the best balance between capability and battery life. I just can't imagine myself happier in any available phone right now. :)

Sry XD im having a really hard time !!! I'm just going to end up getting the note 2. It's is a darn good solid device. But the display is identical to the s3 right?..

Good point. But we've all been there. It took me a long time to decide between the HTC EvoLTE and GS3. Thank God I held off or I would've missed the note 2. =)

Ok I'm completely sold into this phone!!!! Thank you so much guys!!! I can't freaking wait. It will defenetly be in my hands by Saturday.
 
Carlos please post photos of your new phone when you get it ...you will add a few more dollars to Samsung's $8.3 Billion Profit :o:
 
Pre-congrats! I just got mine a few days ago and no regrets! Thought of waiting for the S4 didn't even cross my mind when I first saw the Note 2.
 
Omg I got the phone last night!!! And I freaking love it! Its fast fluid the screen is amazing. And thanks for helping me out. Im still trying to figure out how to write on my screenshots though. Can u help me with that?
