Root Hard Key light up with Notification.

I found a thread over on XDA that really perked my interest. When you get a notification, the hard keys light up and stay lit to let you know that you have a notification. I don't know if our kernel supports that, the one made by BobZ. I would like to enable this functionality on my phone if possible. Thanks!!!

Haven't used it in a long time but I would think it would because it would keep it from going into a full sleep. Has the same issue with widget locker draining because it never went into full sleep mode.

Do you know of anything that could replicate the action of a Notification LED then? I really would like a way to see if I have notifications at a glance.
