Help hard keyboard + function question

When using the slide out keyboard and typing a phone number if you lock FN to type numbers then you have no spacebar .

So typing 1 312 1211 222 is a pain. Just wondering if there is trick to create a space when FN is locked?

well... then what does space do when on FN? (in a txt messege it brings up a menu of characters, in phone it does nothing, and in people it goes to the next field)

also where/why are you trying to create a space?

i cant see a reason to need to do this, is why i ask. just interested.

Try texting this ph# 619 467-3455 . Not the end od the world return the phone kind of thing but still .

yeah but say your typing in this number, why does there need to be a space between the numbers? doesn't it input a text or call with no spaces?
