Help Hard reset deleted homescreen help!

ok so i had a couple force closes. i did the hard reset and little did i know it did NOT bring back factory apps. so now im stuck with my phone booted up but with NO homescreen . I am going CRAZY . PLEASE someone help me i just want to bring the phone back to normal. I tried ADB and it couldnt detect my device... I have the LG lab thing but my netbook will not let me see the start button to see if itd work and i tried to use the official LG software update tool and it says a fatal error occured as soon as it gets to the downloading tab.

I just got a job and use this phone for work so i need to fix it fast SOMEBODY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me!

Most but not all root instructions warn you that anything you delete is permanent. This is why people either go the full route for a NAND backup or don't delete anything at all and get something to disable them.
