Hard Reset LG Optimus M Plus

This is how to perform a hard reset on this phone.

Take the battery out. Put it back in. Press and hold the following keys at the same time for about 1 to 2 seconds until the touch key backlights turn on: Power/Lock Key and Down Volume Key.

As soon as the backlight on the touch keys is turned on, release the keys. Then touch and hold the Home Key until the LG logo is displayed.

Your phone will perform the hard reset.

when i do this key combination it goes into hard reset, but does not stay, and it reboots. my phone is still not factory reset. what other methods are there to factory reset my LG Optimus M+ MS695 ?

Yeah i kinda rooted my optimus and did all the bs you would do to a rooted phone (running 2.2).

*Root explorer

*apps2sd

*deleted bloatwear

*jhsvnwqkjdfbkdjfbe

My phone started notifying me about it's internal space running out, reason why i even installed apps2sd. Even though i moved the apps to the sd card i couldn't download apps from the play store because i barely had any space.. like wtf.. So i started deleting these apps for more space... the phone reboots and stays on the metro pcs screen till it looses battery. *I did the whole press the power/lock- vol down and home screen thing. Just started messin around and deleting/formatting everything so hopefully it goes back into factory reset. Now it's just in Fast boot mode.... the hell is that supposed to mean? It's so depressing. I had this gay little phone sooped up. Can anyone PLEASE help me out? Any type of info would be great. phones brand enw i don't wanna just give up and throw it away...

You posted this in the wrong forum. You have the Optimus M (MS690). This is a forum for the M+ (MS695). There are some threads over there to get you out of fast boot, and to help you with any other issues you might have. Look for the Optimus M all things root forum. I'm on my phone, otherwise I'd provide you a link to take you directly there.

this wont work if you have CWM installed and most likely cause a cwm bootloop if a fact reset is done from the settings menu. Instead you will need to do the same steps mentioned above to boot into CWM from power off, confirm, then it will boot into CWM, then from there do a factory reset/wipe data.
