Hard Reset Problem

Hi,
i have just hard reset my DHD after I installed an app from an unknown source. the marketplace client has now gone back to version 1.x. i cannot install or uninstall any apps and have no idea what is causing this problem.

i have tried installing marketplace 2.2.7 apk from the sd card and this just hangs on the install screen.

can someone please give me some help or post a link.

there is no need to manually install updates for android market, it will automatically update itself after u open close it few times.

maybe now you have to factory reset again and then open close android market few times
