Hard Reset Question

I have been a victim of the MMS corruption issue that is making SMS/MMS threading a pain the butt. I have broken down and decided that I'm doing a hard reset tomorrow...

Before I do it, I plan on using MyBackupPro, but I also would like to know if I need to download and re-install the firmware update from Sprint/HTC again, or if the Hard Reset does not affect the firmware.

After you backup your data, all you have to do is reset back to factory and it should go back to when you bought the phone. I hold the menu and back buttons down and press the power button to get the screen to reset.

Ok, so I'll have to re-install the firmware update then, correct?

If you got a phone before the update then yes. I don't know for sure if new ones come with the update.
