If I am already on froyo, will a hard reset take froyo off? as it goes back to bone stock epic 4g?

Negative. A hard reset will keep froyo.

Correct. You will lose your apps, calendar, contacts, emails, etc.


Imagine that you bought a new phone that already had froyo on it. You will have to set up your phone from scratch. Anything that you have on your SD card will stay on your SD card unless you wipe it.
