Has anyone found any external gaming controllers that are compatable with the Ascend? Or does anyone know of a way to connect a standard USB gaming controller (like one would use on the computer) that can connect and be used on the Ascend? Or does anyone know of a way to make multi-touch work on the Ascend? Just downloaded the Gameboy Color Emulator from the market, but you really kinda need to hit more than one button at a time in order to really play it. The virtual keypad doesn't facilitate that very well. Thanks!

They make controllers like that, but I have no idea of they are compatible with the Ascend.

The officially listed phones include the Wildfire and the Optimus, so its at least in the realm of possibility. I think I would rather put the money toward a better phone, though.

It looks like the Zeemote would be ideal, but you might be right about just buying a better phone. Sucks that multi-touch is not an option. Thanks for the replies!
I found an app (WiimoteController) that lets me sync my Wii Controller to my phone via bluetooth, but it only sorta works; it starts out fine, the phone and the wiimote talk to eachother for about ten minutes, then it just suddenly stops. Bluetooth is still enabled, the app is still running, the wiimote is still powered on, but the app stops polling button data from the wiimote. When I try to cycle the connection, the app times out trying to connect to the wiimote, and when I try to cycle the bluetooth connection, it refuses to come back on. The only fix I've found so far is to cycle power on the phone itself and start the whole process over again, which needless to say is inconvenient to a retro gamer's needs
