Help Hardware limitations

[pridestr8edge]

Hi there, this is my first post. I was just wondering if there was anything hardware wise that would prevent the sony ericsson x10 from getting a froyo update? I really want to get this phone but if it can't get 2.2 because of hardware limitations that'll be a total bummer. I think I read some where that sony will continue to support the x10 until its hardware prevents it from updating.

It can run 2.2 fine.

Well, you will have to wait until Sony Ericsson updates their device or it is rooted by third-party developers which allows the installation of all sorts of custom firmwares.
