Help Hardware question

Greetings!

I've had my phone for a couple of weeks.

I took a look at the phone, there are 3 "holes" on the bottom of the phone. The obvious is the USB connector, the one to the left, a small pinhole, is the microphone (both indicated in the User Guide) the third on the right looks like a tiny Kingston lock port.

Does anyone know what it is?

Take the rubber casing off and you'll see a little hook type thing. I believe this is to be used if you want to use a lanyard/neck strap/hand strap.

I'm not sure how strong it is though...
