Has anyone dropped their Note 2 yet

Just wondering if anyone has dropped their note 2 yet? If so what was the damage and did you have a case on it? Thanks.

Caloy dropped his and shattered his screen from sitting position. He got a replacement.

For myself, I dropped mine a few times in my brother's van. No damage (thank goodness) with an Otterbox Commuter case on it. Also dropped it once on a carpeted floor (not that high up). Why I need a case! I'm clumsy at times...

Mine fell yesterday from 3 feet (almost 1 meter) on a hard floor, but it suffered no damage at all. It scared the hell out of me. So I ordered a Case-Mate Tough Case (arriving later today).

Dropped mine once without a case on the bathroom floor and probably 5 or six times on various surfaces with a tpu case..no damage do far. Needless to say, I opt for the insurance lol

Dropped mine with hardcase shell...cracked camera flash...intermittent functioning flash now. Scratch screen too.

Yea I'm trying to debate on what kinda case to get. I have the shell case from Verizon but that has no protection on the top or bottom. I really don't want a massive case since the phone is already big. I just didn't know how much protection those little tpu cases gave.

A few times, all without a case.

1st drop was just like the CNet drop test (except my car is nowhere near as tall as the SUV in the drop test). Slid out of my pocket onto cement in my parking structure. I was lucky to escape with only a couple dings on the side bezel.

2nd drop was a 6 foot drop straight down on its side, while using the phone as a leveler for measuring a TV mount. Luckily, only a couple more scratches on the side bezel, but nothing major.

3rd/4th drops were maybe a foot from the couch onto my hardwood floor. No scratches at all.

I would call my circumstances complete exceptions to what others have experienced, but my Note 2 has been fine without a case. I'm not too concerned, since I'm covered by Best Buy's Geek Squad coverage for two years, but no matter what, having to wait on a phone to be fixed or replaced is always a hassle that one would prefer to avoid.

It's threads like this I should stay away from because nothing usually happens until I read one.
This morning I place my phone on a windowsill so I could finish watching Power Rangers (yes......I said Power Rangers) while I took my bath. Phone slips off and hits the floor.
I stopped breathing because I heard my phone hit the pipe before I bent over to retrieve it!

This time it was in the ZeroLemon case. Thankfully no damage but dangggg......my heart cant take this sort of pressure.

Nope, have not dropped it yet :smokingsomb: and i also have the shellcase (with stand) from Verizon and I LOVE IT...anything else on this phone would be just too damn big

I dropped it the other day, partner almost killed me lol but think I may have beat her to it lol. My heart stopped I swear lol. Was sat in the car, it only feel from my leg to the floor and was in a Momax the core case. Made a snap noise when it landed, fortunately no scratches, marks etc and was just the case snapping closed as I hadn't finished using my phone just popped it down while I checked for email on my partners phone.

Several times on carpet and concrete. Have an Otterbox Commuter case for mine. ZERO damage with the exception of some scuffing on my screen protector. No biggie though.

Both major drops occurred while getting in the car. The first time I had the Samsung flip cover on it and the phone got a good "ding" on the side. The second time I had a Zenus wallet cover on it scratched the other side. The screen is still great. With my luck I will drop the phone on a shag carpet/rug and the screen will shatter in a million pieces.

i dropped mine from say 2 feet? was getting out of my truck and it fell no case only screen protector. many dings to the chrome plateing around the phone and some marks to the screen thank god for the screen protector, worst part was i have like 4 cases and the day i didnt put one on, needless to say im never leaving with out one again

I am debating on getting a case. I looove the look of it just as is. soo sleek and beautiful. And its big enough without a case. It just fits in my old car dock for my S2 lol. with a rubber shell casing it for sure wont make it in the dock.

I did by a nice screen protector though today.

I often hear/read people say dings gives your phone character.
The only thing it gives me is a reason to get another one.

I have dropped mine off of a 3' (ish) bed a couple times with no damage at all. I have a Seido Surface case/holster and a Zagg shield. The holster was not attached falling off the bed. Dropped once in the parking lot at work from hip level (I am 5'11") with the holster attached onto asphalt. Small scratch on case, no damage to the phone. Combination of lucky and the case doing its job I am guessing.

I'm probably gonna get about 4 cases lol. Does anyone have the lime flip case on a titanium grey gn2? I'm also gonna get the seidio active case for four wheeler riding and then a few tpu cases in different colors

Dropped mine of the bed, maybe 3 feet, onto carpet at least a dozen times without a case. No dings, dents, or scratches yet.

4 cases....That's all? :D
I think I'm up to 8 or 9 now. Might have to start adding some color. All but one is white.

Just dropped my phone last night, a bit higher than my previous drop that cracked my screen. This time my battery cover and battery came out, and to my relief my screen is intact.

Sent using the force

Im not too affraid of sratching it from it falling but the jarring of the insides from the landing is what I am nervous of. When it hits the floor it has to be be rough on the inner components??
